Get To Know Me

Onke is a junior software developer specializing in building real-world applications. He graduated from the Durban University of Technology in 2021 with a diploma in Information and Communication Technology in Applications Development. In 2022, he completed his postgraduate qualification, earning an Advanced Diploma in Information and Communication Technology. Onke is currently seeking an internship opportunity in software engineering. He aims to apply his expertise in data structures, algorithms, algorithm analysis, design patterns, and software development in C# (Asp.net) to solve technical challenges.

1 - News api

Django web application: It uses news API to get news and JSON data back. Then it is parsed using google's json library. I'm fetching data using one source, but there are no restriction on the number sources you can use.

Technologies Used: C#, ASP NET MVC, JavaScript, MYSQL.

2 - Rating feature

ASP. NET MVC web application: A star rating is a rating question that lets people rate a product or service with a number of stars. The number of stars start from 1 to 5 stars. This web application is built with c#, JavaScript and the database is mysql. Technologies Used: C#, ASP NET MVC, JavaScript, MYSQL.

3 - Realtime chat

Django web application: Realtime chat is a public messenger for groups, which allows users to communicate and receive messages in real time. Technologies Used: Python Django, SQLite, bootstrap5

4 - Chrome extension

This is my self challenge to build a super simple, not fancy at all app. Link tree clone with my social media links that can be download as a chrome extensiion. Technologies Used: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript.
